{Inspiration} Old World Churches

While my love clearly lies with the smaller, crumbling churches of the world, I feel I cannot ignore the beauty and magesty of Hagia Sophia. The largest cathedral in the world for nearly a thousand years, this former church, then mosque, and now museum changed the history of architecture. Famed for its massive dome, this marvel of Byzantine architecture conceals within it an exquisite interior that I could not in good conscience exclude.
